EXCURSIONS BETWEEN VILLAS AND CAMELIE WITH ENVIRONMENTAL GUIDE
Four routes along the trails north and south of the sixth stage of the Via Francigena
Hiking or biking along the trails north and south of the sixth stage of the Via Francigena in weekend XXIV Exhibition of Ancient Camellias of Lucca (9-10, 16-17 and 23-24 March) promoted by Capannori and Cultural Center Compitese. A new initiative that adds to the rich program of the event, at the proposal of the Panel of Address Observatory tourist destination Capannori, organized by the Environmental Guides related Observatory Tourist Destination of the City through the collaborative network www.TerrediMare.org Gabriele Theban in collaboration with AGAT (Environmental Guides Association Tuscany).
Four paths surrounded by nature in the background of the beautiful villas of Lucca and Capannori and visit some places of the exhibition, to spot a particular preparation by all, with itineraries on foot and by bike using the technique of Nordic Walking healthy while many of the traits of the route can be traveled on horseback.
4 routes to choose from:
Lucca Railway Station-Vorno (there is a stop at the visitors center of VORNO – The Rio Vorno) Saturday, March 9th,16th starting at 9.00, 9 km away. The trail takes you along the aqueduct of Nottolini to get to the ‘Golden Words’ and then through the village of Badia di Cantignano arrive in Vorno.
Vorno-Pieve di Compito Saturday 9, 16 and 23 March starting at 14.30, 7 km away. The route extends from Vorno through the coast and the coast of Salvalco of Borgognone to reach the village of the Camellias (S.Giusto and St. Andrea di Compito).;
Forum Boarium-Villa Lazzareschi Camigliano Sunday 10, 17 and 24 March starting at 9.30, distance 18 km, the route runs along the Serchio river park from Ponte San Quirico in Ponte a Moriano to continue to Saltocchio Marlia to Segromigno in Monte passing in front of several villas, including the Villa Reale, Villa Mansi, Villa Torrigiani, to arrive at Villa Lazzareschi.
Villa Lazzareschi- Borgo Camellia Sunday 10, 17 and 24 March starting at 14.30, 18 km away. From Villa Lazzareschi the route passes by S. Martino hill (loc. The Quercione) Monte Carlo, Marshes Porcari, S.Ginese and arrives at Frantoio Visona to S.Giusto di Compito.
The routes are separated by a lunch break in a place equipped and defendant, where you can enjoy a picnic lunch or a meal agreement.
It ‘will be a free shuttle service to bring people to the places of departure and by reservation only pay a rental / transportation of bicycles.
