Trekking Bike in Lucca

Easy Ride along a gravel bike path that runs alongside the aqueduct of Nottolini. You’ll reach a place called “The Golden Words”; It’s the area of water capture that fed the town. The Running water is the Thread; also we ride the river park path, completing the visit to the city of Lucca along the Renaissance walls.

Orecchiella Park

It is the Kingdom of the wolf, and Golden Eagle, wildsheeps lives in the area. You’ll climb the Pania of Corfino, the mountain that is the heart of the Tuscan Emilian Apennines. You discover the nature of Orecchiella wildness state reserve along the most secret path.

Garfagnana, flavours and ancient crafts

You visit to the dairy for the production of typical pecorino of Garfagnana and the old water mill where the Formenton 8 rows is grind, It’s the original corn imported in Garfagnana is famous for the tasty polenta.

Botri Gorge (Orrido di Botri)

Excursion into the fascinating gorges of the most famous canyon of Tuscany, restricted wildness area; it is a Zone of Special Protection and Site of UE Importance according to Tuscan Low. We walk between the steep slopes and inaccessible, the home of the golden eagle along the river bed in the imposing and rugged gorge of limestone.

The chestnut and the ancient Jobs of the Val Pedogna

Pedogna is a tributary of the river

Serchio, its valley is developed in lowest parts of Apuane and its economy has always seen the chestnut as a central hub. It’s a Journey to discover “the tree of bread” as is nicknamed the chestnut. You walk along a dedicated path, of history, culture and related activities.

You can visit an ancient iron factory, famous for its water hammer.

Excursion to the mountain “Pania della Croce”: even if not the highest, is surely the queen of the Apuan Alps. It ‘s wilderness area, a capture marble land of large climbing adventures. The tour aims to reach the “Rossi”, a typical example of a mountain refuge; it is usually possible Ascension (optional) to the summit.

SCALE PROBLEMS

FOR ALL: path to walk or bike absent or short does not constitute any problem.

T (tourist): routes by road, path or trail clear and well marked; altitude is above 1000 meters, requires elementary equipment trip.

Mtb – TC: path on dirt roads from the bottom and compact sliding.

E (hiking): routes that can take up to easy rock climbing, with exposure problems, snow and in general, the crossing of impervious areas, require proper safety equipment.

Mtb-MC: a little grime roads uneven, irregular or sliding paths.

EE (hikers): routes that can take up to easy rock climbing, with exposure problems, snow and in general, the crossing of impervious areas, require proper safety equipment.

Mtb – BC: uneven dirt, mule tracks and footpaths uneven, with obstacles.

EEA (hikers equipped): ferrate routes on alpine routes or, where the frequency of equipment, the physical effort required and the high exposure necessitate the use of equipment for safety and any mutual insurance.

Mtb: OC: very uneven trails with significant presence of obstacles.

Required:

• Show the coupon that entitles the service;
