Lucchesia
is a land of villas and vineyards. The Romanesque parish
churches and the landscape are made of tradition and
exertions; our culture is the culture of vine and olive
grove, and we’ll have the possibility to perceive
its taste and its flavour walking through San Giovese,
sampling an “Aleatico dell'Elba”
or an “Ansonico al Giglio” or tasting
a “castagnaccio” (a cake made of chestnut
flour) or some “necci” (typical pancake
made of chestnut flour) with the shepherd’s “ricotta”
(a soft white unsalted cheese).
